Wallenford Limited
In 2013 a subsidiary o Portland Holdings, Wallenford Limited, began the process of purchasing the Wallenford Coffee Company Limited from the Jamaican Government. One of the first things done upon taking over the management of the company was the creation of the Wallenford Foundation.
The Foundation is a way for the Company to support schools and communities in the highest districts of the Jamaica Blue Mountains. Children in these areas are at a disadvantage due to limited income. Their location also makes it difficult for the government and charitable organizations to provide consistent support. The Foundation has provided area schools with up to date technology and school supplies.
